In particular to meet the Social needs of the Irish people living in the City of Bristol and surrounding Areas.
To act as an umbrella organization for any Irish groups who wish to join with or be associated with the Bristol Irish Society.
The Society is a non-sectarian organisation and is non-political.

The Committee – We are always looking for volunteers to join the committee and to help us plan, organise and run events throughout the year. If you would like to join the committee or want to know more please e-mail us (see our Contacts Us page) or contact us on our Facebook. The 2010 AGM saw some changes to the committee with new members joining and taking on key roles. We hope these changes have injected some new enthusiasm and ideas into the society however we are always happy to receive ideas and suggestions from you.
